Why does my dog refuse normal kibble but eats everything else?

Your dog isn't picky; they are just bored of sprayed-on artificial flavour. Conventional kibble is extruded at 150°C, destroying the natural aroma dogs rely on to eat. Ethelia Healthy Dogs is slow-cooked under 60°C using fresh chicken, pork, and fish. The smell is real, not manufactured. Most dogs finish the bowl on day one.

Is the texture of Ethelia different from dry kibble?

Yes. We make slow-cooked, cold-pressed bites, not extruded kibbles. Because we don't blast our food with high heat and pressure, Ethelia bites retain 19% natural moisture. They have creamier texture and are easier to chew than rock-hard kibble. For dogs that find kibble texture unappetising, this texture change makes all the difference.

Could my dog's picky eating be related to digestion?

Absolutely. Dogs often avoid food that gives them a heavy, gurgly stomach. Extruded kibble expands in the stomach and takes hours to break down.
